Buser 75

Description

A rather late but technically not uninteresting cylinder movement is the Buser caliber 75 with 8 3/4 lignes. It is nowhere marked, but could be identified with the help of the Flume Werksucher of 1947.

This cylinder movement still runs near perfect today, that’s something, which most other cylinder movements don’t achieve.

On the dial side, you can’t see much but an interesting kind of shock protection for the balance. The rocking bar winding mechanism and the dials for the hands are below the dial plate – that is pretty unusual!
